Our University's Institutional Accreditation Program and Preparation Monitoring and Evaluation Meeting-2 Were Held

Under the chairmanship of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Adem Korkmaz, the Institutional Accreditation Program and Preparation Monitoring and Evaluation Meeting-2 was held.

Rector Prof. Dr. Adem Korkmaz, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Durmuş Acar, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karaca, Rector Advisor Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Mustafa Kılınç, General Secretary Ali Nihat Gündüzalp, faculty deans, institute and school directors, school secretaries, department heads, academicians, students, administrative staff, and unit quality commission heads and members attended the meeting held at the Veterinary Faculty Conference Hall.

The opening speech of the meeting was made by Rector Prof. Dr. Adem Korkmaz. Providing information about MAKÜ's quality studies, Rector Korkmaz emphasized the importance of institutional accreditation. Touching on the works done and to be done by the units within the scope of institutional accreditation, and the importance of the units in this process, Rector Korkmaz also provided information about the guides published by the Higher Education Quality Board. 

Stating that two faculties at MAKÜ have been accredited, Rector Korkmaz said that the Veterinary Faculty has received national and international accreditation, and the other accredited faculty is the Faculty of Education, and that strong accreditation studies are being carried out.

After Rector Korkmaz's speech, University Quality Coordinator Assoc. Dr. Ahmet Buğra Hamşıoğlu provided information about the institutional accreditation program. Providing information about the basic components and legislation application of the institutional accreditation program, Assoc. Dr. Hamşıoğlu informed about the institutional external evaluation processes and basic documents carried out by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK), the Institutional Accreditation Program, the steps of the program, criteria and evaluation method, and legislation application.

At the meeting, the preparation studies for our University's 2022 internal evaluation report were also evaluated.
