The Corporate Accreditation Program (KAP) and the Unit Self-Assessment Process Meeting was held.

The meeting of the Corporate Accreditation Program and the Unit Self-Assessment Process was held under the chairmanship of our university's Rector Prof. Dr. Adem Korkmaz with the members of the Unit Quality Commission from our university's academic and administrative units.
The meeting held in the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Adem Korkmaz, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Durmuş Acar, faculty deans, institute and vocational school directors, school secretaries, department heads, academics, and administrative staff.
In his opening speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Adem Korkmaz announced that the accreditation processes have begun. Rector Korkmaz stated in his speech; “Recently, higher education institutions have started accreditation processes that focus on total system efficiency and quality, explaining their institutional structures and levels to both society and their own environment,” and mentioned the accreditation processes with examples.
Rector Korkmaz stated that two faculties at MAKÜ have been accredited, that the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has received national accreditation, and that they will submit their documents for international accreditation in September, adding that the other accredited faculty is the Faculty of Education and that strong accreditation studies are being conducted.
Rector Korkmaz, stating that Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University is shown as an example by the Higher Education Council (YÖK), said, “We see that MAKÜ has an invisible accreditation at YÖK. It is an honor for us that our university is shown as an example. We are among the top three in some areas among universities established after 2006,” he said.
After Rector Korkmaz's speech, University Quality Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Buğra Hamşıoğlu provided information about the corporate accreditation program. Hamşıoğlu presented information about the basic components of the corporate accreditation program and the implementation of regulations, as well as the corporate external evaluation processes and basic documents conducted by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK), the steps of the Corporate Accreditation Program, criteria, evaluation methods, and the implementation of regulations.
