Meetings Were Held Within the Scope of the Turkish Higher Education Vision Towards 2030

Under the coordination of the Higher Education Council, meetings held within the scope of the “Turkish Higher Education Vision Towards 2030” focused on Quality-Oriented Process Management and Leadership, Digital Transformation and Data-Driven Management, National and International Reputation and Visibility, Entrepreneurial and Innovative University, and action plan proposals aimed at supporting the development of universities have been prepared. Additionally, monitoring and evaluation indicators, as well as a monitoring method and schedule, have been established to facilitate their follow-up.
In this context, under the chairmanship of our University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hakan ÖNER, the indicators specified in each action plan were examined in detail during the meetings held on 25.06.2025 and 26.06.2026 with our academic and administrative unit managers to ensure the follow-up of the implementation of these action plans by universities in the upcoming period. It was also emphasized that it is important for our units to act in collaboration since the processes need to be carried out in coordination. On the other hand, our unit managers were informed about the ongoing work on the “Data Management System” that has been implemented and continues to be developed at our University, and it was stated that integration could be made with these indicators.

Finally, it was emphasized that our academic units should plan their activities considering the activities specified in YÖK's vision document. In this framework, it was decided that the relevant responsible units should plan their activities and start working.
