The number of programs with the Turkey Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) logo at MAKÜ has increased to 18

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) continues its accreditation and certification efforts without slowing down, in line with quality assurance-focused education policies. 

In this context, 8 of our programs that successfully completed the Turkey Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) evaluation process have gained the right to use the TYÇ logo. With the addition of new programs, a total of 18 of our programs have gained the right to use the TYÇ logo.

Previously, the following programs at MAKÜ Faculty of Education had also gained the right to use this prestigious logo: Primary Mathematics Teaching, English Teaching, Preschool Teaching, Guidance and Psychological Counseling, Classroom Teaching, Music Teaching, Science Teaching, Social Studies Teaching, Turkish Teaching, and MAKÜ Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

In the TYÇ system, where only accredited programs can apply; the following MAKÜ programs will be able to carry the TYÇ logo on their diploma supplement, graduation certificate, and transcripts:

• Gölhisar Health Services Vocational School – First Aid and Emergency Aid
• Social Sciences Vocational School – Civil Aviation Transportation Management
• Technical Sciences Vocational School – Construction Technology

The TYÇ logo not only increases the national and international recognition of a program but also ensures that the qualifications of graduates are documented in a clear and reliable manner. This development is an indication of MAKÜ's student-centered, transparent, and sustainable quality assurance understanding.

What is the Turkey Qualifications Framework?

The Turkey Qualifications Framework is a national reference system that enables the classification, definition, and comparability of all qualifications in Turkey according to specific quality criteria. 

Compatible with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), the TYÇ aims to provide individuals with access to transparent, understandable, and reliable qualification information in their education and employment processes. The TYÇ logo is an official symbol indicating that a qualification meets the TYÇ criteria and has successfully passed quality assurance processes.
