The success of MAKÜ's 2025 MEDEK accreditation has been certified

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) achieved significant success in the 2025 MEDEK (Vocational Education Assessment and Accreditation Association) accreditation results. Many programs affiliated with the Vocational Schools within the university received full accreditation for 4 years, while some programs gained conditional accreditation rights for 2 years. The announced results once again highlighted MAKÜ's commitment to quality assurance in vocational and applied education.

 

Programs that received 4 years of accreditation

As a result of the evaluations conducted by MEDEK, the following programs were accredited for 4 years, certifying their educational quality:

  • Bucak Hikmet Tolunay Vocational School
    Public Relations and Promotion
  • Çavdır Vocational School
    Elderly Care
  • Social Sciences Vocational School

These programs fully met MEDEK standards in terms of educational infrastructure, academic staff qualifications, practical opportunities, collaboration with the industry, and continuous improvement criteria.

 

Programs that received 2 years of conditional accreditation

Some programs, as a result of the evaluations, gained the right to receive 2 years of conditional accreditation. In this context:

    Finance
  • Burdur Food Agriculture and Livestock Vocational School
    Laboratory and Veterinary Health
  • Burdur Health Services Vocational School
    Surgical Services
  • Gölhisar Vocational School
    Computer Programming

The completion of necessary work in the identified improvement areas will pave the way for these programs to receive full accreditation.
